She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry at the University of Valencia (Spain) in 2002. Between 2003 and 2006 she enjoyed a pre-doctoral FPU grant at the Department of Analytical Chemistry at the University of Valencia. Her research was focused on instrumental and chemometric developments applied to different sample treatment and analysis.

In 2007 she began her post-doctoral period at the Polythecnic University of Valencia (Spain) working on environmental fields. In 2008 she joined the Institute of Molecular Recognition and Technological Development, where she worked until 2013. Her research was focused on immunoassays, sensors and nanoparticles development to be applied to different environmental and clinical analysis.

Since 2014 she enjoys a “Carmen y Severo Ochoa” postdoctoral fellowship of the Ayuntamiento de Valencia at the Perinatal Research Group of the IIS La Fe.
